Pulsar mouse battery on Windows
Your Pulsar Xlite V4, X2 V3, X3, X2 CrazyLight, TenZ or ZywOo battery in the Windows taskbar, read from the receiver like Pulsar's own software does, with an alert before it runs out.

The V4 and V3 generation
The Xlite V4, X2 V3, X2H V3, X2A V3, X3, X3 LHD and Feinmann F01 use another chip and the protocol of Pulsar's Fusion2 software. BatteryOnPC sends the same two read requests as Fusion2, the battery level then the charging state, on the same channel of the receiver or the cable. It never sends anything that changes a setting.
These mice share their 1K and 8K receivers, so BatteryOnPC also asks the receiver which mouse is paired with it: your device is named Xlite V4 or X3, for example, rather than 1K Dongle.
When the mouse sleeps or is switched off, the receiver answers that it has no link: BatteryOnPC shows it in grey, as off, rather than at 0 %.
The CrazyLight range
The CrazyLight mice and the ones built on them (TenZ, ZywOo Gen.2 and Gen.3, Feinmann F01 Noctua, eS FS-1, Pro Series) talk to their receiver with the same 17-byte frames as ATK mice. Like Pulsar's software, BatteryOnPC first asks the receiver whether the mouse is online, then asks for its battery and reads the level and whether it is charging.
The older X2 V2, X2H, X2A and Xlite V3 use the same frames on their own receivers.
When the mouse sleeps, the receiver reports it offline: BatteryOnPC shows it in grey, as off, rather than at 0 %. No false alert while you are away from your desk.
Why a CrazyLight level can differ from Pulsar's software
Each answer from a CrazyLight mouse carries both the percentage it computes itself and the voltage of its battery. Pulsar's software turns the voltage into a percentage with its own table, and its PC and browser versions do not even use the same one. BatteryOnPC shows the percentage the mouse reports, the one ATK HUB also shows for this family of mice. So the two figures may not match, yet both come from the same mouse.
eS Xlite and the first ZywOo
The eS Xlite and the first ZywOo The Chosen Mouse each have a protocol of their own, the ones of Pulsar's web software. BatteryOnPC sends them the same battery request, byte for byte, and nothing but read requests.
The eS Xlite reports its level in steps of 5 %, so its level moves 5 % at a time, just as in Pulsar's software.
Questions about Pulsar devices
- My receiver shows as 1K Dongle. Is that normal?
- Not any more. BatteryOnPC asks the receiver which mouse is paired with it and gives the device its name, Xlite V4 or X3 for example. A receiver already added under the name 1K Dongle takes the mouse's name at its first reading.
- Why does BatteryOnPC not show the same level as Pulsar's software?
- For the CrazyLight range, Pulsar's software computes its percentage from the battery voltage, with its own table. BatteryOnPC shows the one the mouse reports itself. Both come from the same mouse, they are just computed differently.
- Do I need Pulsar's software open?
- No. BatteryOnPC reads the receiver on its own. Keep Pulsar's software for your settings if you use it.
- My Pulsar model is not in the list. Will it work?
- The list names the models confirmed so far. Write to us with the exact model and the receiver it uses, and we will answer before you buy.
