HyperX Cloud headset and Pulsefire mouse battery on Windows
See the battery of your HyperX Cloud II, Cloud III, Cloud Alpha or Stinger 2 Wireless headset and Pulsefire mouse in the Windows taskbar, without NGENUITY.
10 models listed: 2 mice, 8 headsets
Cloud headsets
- Cloud II Wireless, Cloud III Wireless, Cloud III S Wireless, Cloud II Core Wireless and Cloud Alpha 2: a percentage, read from the dongle.
- Cloud Alpha Wireless: a percentage too, but the headset sends no level while it charges. The icon picks it up again once it is unplugged.
- Cloud Flight: it reports a voltage, so the percentage is an estimate.
- Cloud Stinger 2 Wireless: read on its dongle as well.
HyperX belonged to Kingston before HP bought it. The receivers of both eras are recognised, whichever name your headset was sold under.
Pulsefire mice
The Pulsefire Dart and the Pulsefire Saga Pro report a percentage on their dongle.

Questions about HyperX devices
- Do I need NGENUITY?
- No. BatteryOnPC reads the level from the dongle on its own. Keep NGENUITY if you use it for the equalizer or the lighting.
- Why does my Cloud Alpha Wireless show no level while charging?
- The headset stops sending its level while it charges. BatteryOnPC shows it again as soon as the cable is unplugged.
- Is the Cloud Flight S supported?
- It is not listed: no reliable source documents how it reports its battery. Write to us with your exact model before you buy.
