What is BatteryOnPC?
BatteryOnPC is a lightweight utility for Windows 10 and 11 that reads the battery level of your wireless devices and shows it permanently in the taskbar. It covers PlayStation controllers (including the PS5 DualSense, which Windows cannot read on its own) Xbox controllers, Bluetooth gamepads, gaming mice, keyboards and headsets.
It runs in the background, uses no measurable CPU, adds no input lag in game, and sends a Windows notification as soon as a device drops below the threshold you choose. One-time purchase, no subscription, no account needed to use it.

Which controllers is it compatible with?
PlayStation DualSense (PS5), DualSense Edge and DualShock 4 (PS4) controllers, over USB and Bluetooth, as well as wireless Xbox controllers detected by Windows (XInput).
Are all devices guaranteed to be compatible?
The software is recent and we're actively improving it: we support as many controllers and peripherals as we can, and we expand compatibility with every update, but we can't yet guarantee that 100% of devices work. If yours isn't detected, contact us and we'll do our best to add it.
Can it disturb my controller in-game?
No. The software reads the battery in a strictly passive way: it sends no command to the controller. Many tools get this wrong and end up making games “lose” the controller; here it's prevented by design.
Is there a subscription?
No. It's a one-time purchase at 5,99 €, with no subscription or hidden fees. Version 2.0.3 updates are included.
Does it work with my mouse or headset too?
Yes, optionally, and this part is still in beta. Via “Add a device (beta)”, the software can track a wireless mouse, keyboard or headset and show their battery depending on the brand (e.g. Logitech). Each device gets its own icon in the taskbar. Controllers, by contrast, are fully supported and detected automatically.
How do I receive the software after purchase?
Immediately: a secure download link appears on the confirmation page after payment, and is also sent to you by email.
