Add a LAMZU mouse
- 1
Plug in the receiver
Connect the mouse's receiver and check that the mouse works.
- 2
Scan for devices
In the BatteryOnPC window, open the Devices tab and click Scan for devices.
- 3
Add it
Click Add. The mouse gets its own icon in the taskbar and its own alert threshold.
How the level is read
LAMZU Aurora asks the receiver for the mouse's battery and repeats the question a few times while the mouse has not answered yet. BatteryOnPC sends the same request, byte for byte, with the same repeats, then reads the real percentage and whether the mouse is charging.
If the mouse still has not answered after the last repeat, it is asleep or switched off: BatteryOnPC shows it in grey, as off, rather than at 0 %, without sending anything more than Aurora would.
The Maya X shares its family of firmware with WLMOUSE mice. The Atlantis uses the protocol of ATK mice and is read that way.
Questions about LAMZU devices
- Why does my LAMZU mouse turn grey?
- It is asleep or switched off: the receiver gets no answer from it. The level comes back as soon as you move the mouse.
- Do I need LAMZU Aurora open?
- No. BatteryOnPC reads the receiver on its own. Keep Aurora for your settings if you use them.
- My LAMZU model is not in the list. Will it work?
- The list names the models confirmed so far. Write to us with the exact model and the receiver it uses, and we will answer before you buy.
