Audeze Maxwell battery on Windows
See the battery of your Audeze Maxwell or Maxwell 2, PlayStation or Xbox edition, in the Windows taskbar, without Audeze HQ, with an alert before it runs out.

How the level is read
The Maxwell and the Maxwell 2 report their battery through their dongle, in the PlayStation and Xbox editions alike. BatteryOnPC sends the short sequence Audeze HQ uses to ask for it, then reads the percentage.
The reading never changes anything: BatteryOnPC sends none of the commands that adjust the headset, such as the game and chat balance.
When the headset is off, the dongle stays connected but has nothing to report: the icon turns grey rather than showing 0 %. Readings have been confirmed on real headsets of both generations.

Questions about Audeze devices
- Does it work with the Xbox edition?
- Yes. The PlayStation and Xbox editions of the Maxwell and the Maxwell 2 are all covered, on their USB dongle.
- Can BatteryOnPC change my Maxwell's settings?
- No. It only reads the battery and never sends a command that changes the headset's settings.
- Why does the icon turn grey?
- The headset is off or out of range: the dongle is still there but has no level to report.
