A tour of the BatteryOnPC window
Everything happens in the taskbar, but the settings live in one window. Its six tabs, what each one is for, and where to find what.

BatteryOnPC is designed to stay in the taskbar, and most days you will never open it. When you do want to change something, it all happens in a single window, split into six tabs.
Opening and closing it
Right-click any BatteryOnPC icon in the taskbar, then Open BatteryOnPC. On the very first launch, the window opens by itself, on the Help tab.
Closing the window does not quit the app: it keeps watching your devices from the taskbar. Only Quit, in the icon menu, stops it.
Overview
Everything tracked, at a glance: your controller and each added device, with its level and its state. It is also where the app recalls its golden rule: reading is 100% passive, and no command is ever sent to the controller.
Notifications
One card per device. The Controller card applies to all your controllers; each mouse, keyboard or headset has its own. In each one: the low battery warning and its threshold, the connect and disconnect warning, the full charge warning, and the reminder with its interval. Devices
The list of tracked devices, each with Remove this device and a gear that jumps straight to its notification card. Below, Scan for devices lists what is connected, a second controller included, with the category Windows guessed: check it before clicking Add. The anonymous diagnostics option lives here too.
Microphone
Everything about the microphone. Choose whether the DualSense mute button mutes the PC microphone, and which microphone it targets; show a microphone icon in the taskbar; reopen the microphone when the app starts or when Windows shuts down. The mute button guide goes through each option.
Help
The essentials in six short cards: keeping the icons visible, adding a device, reading the icons, tuning the notifications, updates and licence, and a shortcut to the contact page.
Settings
Starting BatteryOnPC with Windows, the interface language (eight languages; the Windows language is followed on the first launch), and your licence: its status, the account it belongs to, and the installed version.
