Install BatteryOnPC and activate your PC
From the confirmation email to a battery level in your taskbar: what you need, what to download, and how activation works.

What you need
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
- Nothing else. Everything the app needs, including .NET, is bundled into the installer, so there is no runtime to install first.
- About 60 MB of disk space.
The three steps

Download
Right after payment, the download link appears on the confirmation page. The same link is emailed to you, so you can also install later or on a different PC without going through the site again.

Install
Run the installer and let it finish. The battery icon pins itself to your taskbar automatically: there is nothing to configure to make it appear.

Activate this PC
Click “Activate this PC” in your email, or sign in to your account on the site. Your controller's battery shows up straight away.
Why activation exists
Your licence is tied to the machine you activate, which is what keeps a single purchase from being shared with a whole Discord server. It is a one-off step: once done, the app never asks again on that PC and keeps working offline.
Nothing appears in the taskbar
Windows hides icons it considers secondary behind the small arrow at the left of the notification area. Click that arrow: if the icon is there, drag it onto the visible part of the taskbar and Windows will keep it there.
If there is no icon at all, check that a controller is actually connected: the app shows a level only for a device it can currently see.
Updates
New versions install themselves silently in the background. You never have to reinstall or download anything again, and you keep your settings across updates.
