BatteryOnPC keeps it lean: this site uses no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a site. Some are essential to how it works, others are used for analytics or targeted advertising.
Cookies used on this site
We use only strictly necessary trackers, which do not require your prior consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act / CNIL recommendation):
- Display preference: a flag stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so the cookie information banner is not shown again. No personal data, nothing sent to a server.
- Payment (Stripe): when you click “Buy”, you are redirected to Stripe's secure payment page, which sets its own cookies for security and fraud prevention. These cookies are governed by Stripe's policy.
What we don't use
- No advertising cookies.
- No analytics tools (no Google Analytics, etc.).
- No data sharing with third-party ad networks.
Managing cookies
You can configure your browser at any time to block or delete cookies. Stripe payment may no longer work if you block its security cookies.
